Welcome to Camp Columbus We hope that you and your children have a great time at Camp Columbus.Please make sure you have your scout leaders phone number to call at the gate for entry.
RULES
In order to preserve the beauty of our grounds, motorized vehicles are to be operated on roads only. DO NOT drive on the grass. If you have a question about where to park or unload equipment please contact the office or your scout leader. Please do not block the roads. All operators and vehicles must be in compliance with State and local laws.
The speed limit is 15 mph
All official posted signs are to be obeyed.
Quiet time is 11 pm until 7 am
Campfires are permitted in the camp area, provided that
a. Campers have fires only in fire pits provided or bring above ground fire pits NO campfires are to be made on the grass, and NO holes dug for fires
b. Campers do not leave fire unattended
Swimming: There are no lifeguards on duty, therefore any swimming or use of the swimming area is at YOUR OWN RISK. You are asked to stay within the roped area at all times. A parent or guardian must accompany children while in the swimming area.
Do not allow children to play in the chapel. If your group would like to use the chapel for services please call the office to make sure it is available.
The pavilion is available for your use in case of rain or for special scouting events, if it is not rented. Before using the pavilion call the office to see if it is available. You are expected to leave the pavilion the way you found it. Put your trash in the dumpster, put tables and chairs back in place, and make sure no food is left on the tables or floor.
